Obviously we have had to implement some new measures following the Coronavirus outbreak in order to help safeguard our guests as well as ourselves. We ask all guests to wear a mask at all times, except when in their Bedroom or when seated in the Dining Room. There is a "touch free" hand sanitiser in reception and we would ask all guests to use this every time that they come into the House. In each bedroom we have left some cleaning materials in case guests wish to do additional cleaning in their room, this is not compulsory!!
In order to minimise the risks we have removed the "help yourself" buffet from the dining room, all items that were on it are still available but will be brought to you from the kitchen to reduce sharing of utensils and, of course, to ensure social distancing is maintained in the Dining Room.
With regards to cleaning of rooms, we do not enter your room during your stay which means that we can no longer service the rooms each day so anything that needs changing or replacing should be left outside you room when you go out and we will replace it with new items ready for when you return. If there is anything urgent then just let us know and we will sort it straight away. We have purchased a commercial disinfecting fogging machine so that before you arrive your room will have been fully disinfected, we leave the room empty for a couple of hours after disinfecting, before giving a full clean ready for your stay with us. Unfortunately, because it takes us longer to clean the rooms we have had to restrict breakfast times slightly to ensure that we have enough time to get the rooms cleaned ready for the new arrivals. So, Breakfast is served between 0800 and 0900 each day, which means we would request that you arrive at the Dining Room sometime between these times.
